*Position : Database Report Writing Analyst* *Location : Jacksonville , FL* * Duration : 3+ Months Rate : Open* *Job description :** * · Responsible for data analysis and management reporting. · Creates/designs and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs. Incorporates end user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution. · Identifies appropriate metrics on which to report and utilizes software to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations. · Provides support to research team or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results. · Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, IT to achieve business results. · Must have in-depth knowledge of SQL programming and be highly proficient in data extraction and reporting techniques. May train end-users on report writing. *WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES * · 5 or more years of IT work experience in DBMS support and/or analysis, software application development, or report writing using appropriate tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.). · 5 or more years of work experience designing and creating complex database reports in Crystal Reports 2008/Business Objects · Requires in-depth knowledge and proficiency in data extractionand reporting techniques and in the use of database and report-writing tools and platforms. · 3 or more years of work experience designing stored procedures/views in SQL Server 2005/2008 *EDUCATION GUIDELINES * · Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. Or equivalent work experience. *BREADTH * · Advanced professional level role. Designs, develops and supports database reports of high complexity within a broad technical and/or business context of significant or strategic impact. Works on medium to large, varied, and complex IT projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more IT projects concurrently as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead.
