*Please respond to:** -** **[email protected]* *Requirement as follows:* *Title: WebSphere MQ & Message broker Admin* *Location: Albany, NY* *Duration: 18 months* *Project Description:** * The candidate will work both independently and as a member of the Integrated Justice Messaging Team and support Websphere MQ Series and Message Broker on Linux and AIX platforms. The candidate will support both Integrated Justice and DCJS messaging systems. 7 x 24 support is provided by team members being on-call for a week on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include: • Administration, troubleshooting and configuration of MQ Series and Message Broker. • MQ Series channel and queue configuration, queue manager administration, and testing. • Understand how the various MQ components interface with both external customers and internal applications. • Modify Java programs that utilize messaging via MQ. • Message Broker administration and support. Troubleshooting problems with message flows. • Support FTP services for IJAB and DCJS. Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work both independently and as a project team member. Interaction with other System Administration, Networking and Application Programming staff will also be required. *Required Experience:* - Eight (8) years experience supporting IT systems. - Four (4) years experience with WebSphere MQ Series administration including software installation, channel setup, queue maintenance, and overall system trouble-shooting - Two (2) years experience with WebSphere Message Broker administration and support, including installation, configuration, message flow deployments and troubleshooting. - Three (3) years experience working in UNIX. - The ability to write procedures and other documentation. A sample of previous work is required. - Candidate must be able to work well as a team member. *Preferred skills:* 1. One (1) year experience developing Message Flows for WebSphere Message Broker. 2. Three (3) years experience administering WebSphere Application Server. 3. Knowledge of J2EE. 4. Administrative experience with WebSphere Portal. 5.
