*Business Analyst* *Albany New York* *Rate 38 hr * * * *MANDATORY EXPERIENCE* * * *Minimum of eight (8) years experience in information** technology, four (4) of which must be in business analysis and formulation of business requirements.* *Candidate must be capable of extracting detailed requirements from people internal and external customers* *Candidate must be able to understand the needs of the end user and be able to translate their needs into detailed functional documents and process flow diagrams.* *Candidate must be able to write use cases and various diagrams (e.g. State diagram, Context diagram).* *Candidate must have experience in creating User Interface Specifications, Data Mappings, internal and external workflow diagrams.* *Candidate must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to produce clear and well organized documents.* *Candidate must have experience in developing and executing test plans.* * * *SKILL SETS* * * *Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. * *Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position.* *Full understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC).* *Experience with desktop tools such as MS, Excel, Word, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint and Visio.* *Functional knowledge with Criminal Justice service organizations.* *Experience with Quality Center and Rational Requisite Pro.* *Experience with Rational Modeler.* *Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP).*
