*Job Purpose/ Description:*

• Supports Vertical Service Providers (VSPs) as an ASP that covers the
application needs of a specific vertical market or industry, e.g., banking,
manufacturing, education, real estate, government or law.

• Supports Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as a business management
system that integrates all facets of the business, including planning,
sales, and marketing.

• Develops using knowledge of the VSP or ERP methodology to help business
managers implement ERP in business activities, such as order tracking,
customer service, finance, and human resources.

• Examples of VSPs/ERPs include Siebel, PeopleSoft, Lawson, SunGard, and
Oracle.

• Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and
technology initiatives.

• Excels at analyzing functional needs that drive the analysis and technical
design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned
with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural
standards.

• Serves as SME in all aspects of systems / applications software technology
and / or application components.

• Resolves application and technical problems of the highest complexity.

• Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project
initiatives.

• Analyzes performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with
systems / applications software and/or application components.

• Continuously cultivates knowledge of emerging technologies.

• Provides mentoring and training to junior staff.

• Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational
issues.

• Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing
workload.

• May design, implement and improve workflows, as well as assign projects.

• Excels at working collaboratively with IT staff on development,
troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.

• Performs software architecture and systems design.

• Translates business requirements into functional / technical
specifications; oversees implementation of these specifications.

*Tasks and Responsibilities:*

• Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality
assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions;
possesses an excellent understanding of programming languages, development
tools, and the current environment.

• Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve
technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business
requirements and IT strategies.

• Draws on extensive knowledge base (e.g., infrastructure, technology, and
applications) to analyze problems of the greatest complexity and contribute
to troubleshooting efforts.

• Leverages excellent design understanding and/or capabilities (e.g.,
database, application code, reusable objects, and interfaces) to optimize
development efforts in a distributed environment.

• Adept at understanding operational nuances across multiple business units
/ functional areas.

• Responsible for supervising more junior staff in the execution of
projects.

• May serve as back-up for manager.

• May have involvement with the business during its strategic planning and
budget cycles to leverage knowledge and anticipate technology transformation
potential from a customer perspective; may provide buy vs. build
recommendations or assist in platform determination.

*Required education/experience:*

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or other related field.

• 10 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis

• Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all
system / applications software development.

• Serves as point of escalation for complex issues.

• Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as
coordinating groups of IT staff.

*Client is in need of a Red Brick DBA** *
*Immediate need and is pure **consulting*
 *In Cleveland, Ohio*

The role of the DBA is to support the datawarehouse which is critical,
especially for month end reporting and closing of their books.  Using an
older version of Red Brick, use ACTA as their ETL which interfaces with SAP
to extract data.  Also have Oracle and SQL databases in the mix.  Person
currently in this role knows a little about these databases as well.
Experience with Hyperion/Brio would be a plus - it is not required.

Would like to get this person approximately mid February, minimum 3-6 months
.

*3]SAP Netwaver/Portals Developer* :

 We have a new requirement for Senior SAP Netwaver/Portals Developer for 5-6
months project:

 - Experience designing and implementing a security layer (authorization,
authentication, role-based access, user catalogue, etc) in NetWeaver EP.
- Knowledge of Visual Composer (WPC) Framework
- Experience in development of web applications/portals in SAP NetWeaver EP.
- Netweaver 2004s Enterprise Portal development experienceJ2EE and JSP
development experience
- Knowledge of various architecture frameworks (Spring, Struts, DAO
frameworks, etc)
- Functional knowledge of SAP modules Customer Service and Sales and
Distribution or/and CRM.
- Experience in developing web applications using AJAX is a plus

Skills needed or desired (not all are mandatory):
- Netweaver 2004s Enterprise Portal administration experience
- BW (3.5 or 7.0) development experience, with WAD and Bex
- SAP NW Visual Composer
- Integration of SAP NetWeaver stack with SAP R/3 4.6c
- Integration of SAP NetWeaver EP with SAP BW
