Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Lead Performance Engineer W/ LoadRunner and QTP with C programming Position: 2 Duration: 6 months Location: Alpharetta, Ga Interview: (F2F May be Required) Description: Lead Performance Engineer well versed in LoadRunner and QTP with C programming and analytical skills to lead a new team in testing of HR and Payroll products, qualified to assist in all phases of performance testing, from design through analysis. Lead Performance Engineer works directly with the Manager to plan and design performance testing for our HR an Payroll product set and then project leads a team of engineers to program and excute tests, analyze and prepare summary reports. - 4 year college degree in Computer Science or comparable work-related experience. - Demonstrated minimum 2 years programming experience in C programming (note C++ is NOT ACCEPTABLE; the advancements of C++ made the language easier, so a person experienced in C++ would find C extremely difficult) - Demonstrated minimum 2 years experience with Visual Basic Scripting language. - 4 years LoadRunner experience, including experience with LoadRunner 7.8 or above. - 2+ years experience in Solaris and Windows operating environments and knowledge of available metric utilities for each operating system. - Knowledge of performance testing standards is a must. - Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience transforming performance theory into test plans and scenarios, including experience in test design as it relates to data concurrency. - Minimum 1 year experience performance testing a web-based hosted application with design and analysis responsibilities. - Past experience in design of load, stress, glass-back, capacity performance test plans, data gathering, environment setup and data analysis. - Familiarity with LoadRunner built-in monitors and other monitoring tools. - Familiarity with internet application architectures is required. - Able to write test script program code in C or VBS without aid of recording technology. - Able to analyze test data, correlate, perform statistical analysis, trend line analysis and create reports for audiences or varying technical experience. - Strong oral and written communication skills is required. Emphasis is placed on the ability to write well-formed reports for target audiences. - Formal training and work-related practical application of statistics/statistical analysis is a plus. - Familiarity or experience with web service communications is a plus.
