*Description:*
1. Client is seeking resumes for three SAP BW Developers.
2. The BW Developer position is responsible for design, development,
implementation and support of SAP Business Intelligence (BI) / Business
Warehouse (BW) solutions.
*Skills Required: *
1. Extensive experience using a structured System Development Life Cycle
2. Strong teamwork and customer support focus
3. Ability to handle numerous conflicting priorities in a professional
manner
4. Team building and problem resolution skills.
*Experience required: *
1. At least 5 years experience, 3+ years hands-on experience developing /
maintaining SAP BI/BW Solutions required;
2. At least 2 SAP BW full lifecycle implementations including data
modeling, extractions, data staging, loadings, transformations, and
reporting.
3. Experience with OpenHub and Teradata integration with SAP BW is a
plus.
4. Must possess a solid understanding of all facets of SAP BI/BW
including data extraction, transformation, loading, data modeling, query
definition, web application designer, report designer and performance tuning
and monitoring.
5. Working knowledge and understanding of pertinent SAP ERP Modules:
- Resource 1 (workstream Hire-to-Retire) - HCM, ESS, MSS
- Resource 2 (workstream Record-to-Report) - FI/CO, FSCM, SD
- Resource 3 (workstream Procure-to-Pay) – MM, SRM, SCM
1. Experience in requirements gathering and interpretation in a business
intelligence environment required.
2. Knowledge in reporting/analytics: BEx Analyzer, Web Application
Designer and Visual Composer and Crystal Reports.
3. Experience with Web API's, command URLs, HTML and Java Script
4. Must have experience with relational databases (IBM UDB) including a
strong understanding of database design, SQL queries, PL/SQL, etc.
5. Experience in ABAP to write Start Routines, Update/Transfer Rules,
user exits.
6. Thorough understanding of BI/BW security concepts
7. Experience with SAP Enterprise Portals, Netweaver, and SAP PI desired
*Description of Duties: *
1. Work with others as appropriate to develop SAP BI/BW implementations
and related test plans across the organization.
2. Participate in efforts to gather requirements analysis for new BI/BW
projects.
3. Identify security requirements, including creation of new roles and/or
addition to existing for a given line of business.
4. Work with the user community and Administrators in IT to successfully
implement applications.
5. Responsible for meeting all assigned/agreed on target dates for
projects as well as individual tasks.
6. Maintain the design, code, documentation, and testing procedures
during the functional lifecycle of the system, after initial implementation,
based on input from the user community.
7. Performs all SAP component, assembly, and integration testing required
and documents the results of all testing in accordance with Program
procedures and standards.
8. Supports quality reviews and other external evaluation of all SAP
BI/BW design, development, and testing efforts.
9. Participate in the creation of BI/BW development standards while
adhering to policies, methodologies, standards, and guidelines.
