Hi, Our Client is looking for: *Sybase DBA * * * *Houston, TX * *6 month contract * *$40/hr negotiable* * * *The ideal consultant should have:* * Senior level Database Administrator (DBA) who will support all client*s merger related work activity for 2010 for the following businesses - Rate, SPG, and ASG. * Skill set requirements include excellent communication and planning skills. * Experience must include large database/server migration efforts including server forklift moves across data centers and the ability to work with the Applications Developments teams in terms technical planning. * Ability to effectively work under tight time lines and pressure as well as demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting project schedules. * Technical expertise needs to include the latest versions of Sybase and Oracle. * This is not a Production Support role.
