We are having an urgent requirement for a “Datastage Consultant” in
Location : Syracuse, NY
Visa : US Citizen, GC, GC EAD, TN Permit or H1B
Position : 1+ Year Contract
Position Description:
o Data Integration Specialist
o 3-5 years experience with large scale data integration projects involving multiple databases and technical platforms.
o Minimum 2 years with IBM Websphere (Ascential) DataStage server and enterprise edition. Experience in Datastage 390 is preferred.
o Strong relational database background (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
o Mainframe experience highly desirable.
o Experience in financial services industry / familiarity with ACORD XML formats highly desirable.
o Strong working knowledge of data management tools and analysis techniques.
o Experience in handling data integration efforts for multiple projects and programs of different size and complexity
o Should have solid hands on experience with Parallel Jobs and Parallel extenders.
o Experienced in various data requirements elicitation, analysis and validation techniques
o Expertise in various modeling techniques such as process, data and object modeling
o Analyze business requirements and proposes solutions for data, processes, interfaces (internal and external), controls, outputs, infrastructure, tools and testing.
o Developing and implementing solutions for batch interfaces utilizing the Websphere Data Integration Suite. Works with data analysts in support of the enterprise data management initiatives.
o Responsible for deliverables, including development, testing, implementation and post implementation support turnover.
o Professional experience in leading mid size teams
o Experience in coordinating with offshore teams.
