*We need an Oracle Developer who has Large Scale Billing experience (telecom a big plus). They need this person to start by midweek next week. * * * *Title: Oracle Developer* *Location: Middleton, NJ* *Length: 2 months (end of March at least)* * * *Description:* *Oracle resource needed * · This project is dealing with managing a lot of data for reporting purposes. They need someone who can assist with the performance, and data model for this data and who has experience in large scale data warehouse implementation and ETL transformation. · Experience with design/architecture efforts for EDW or ETL’s, just worked. · need someone with Performance monitoring/architecture skills with EDWs in high volume environments, who can help us design our DB model, ETL mechanisms, and backup/restore strategies · Need someone who architected and designed a database · The individual should be someone versed in designing and implementing large-scale data warehouses in either Oracle 10g R2 or 11g, be Oracle certified, and knowledgeable with Oracle RAC, Oracle Partitioning and Parallel services, and versed using Oracle OLAP technologies in a database with insert of 500m rows/daily and total storage for 11-13b rows, having 5-9 indexes. · Must be familiar with implementing large data warehouse in Oracle · Currently working with 480 million rows in this DB with a homegrown reporting tool in Spring framework which is an open source variation of STRUTS · The manager currently has no one on his team that has worked with Oracle on such a large scale before.
