Essential - Skill Level (1-5) Java (XML Parsing, DTD, Design Patterns, Swing Hibernate, JDBC) 4-5 RDBMS/SQL 4-5 TIBCO 3-4 Exposure to North American Capital market 3 Fixed Income and Derivatives 3-4 7-10 years of development experience. Experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise quality Front Office Trading applications (front to back). Experience in developing global front office capital markets technology systems. Excellent knowledge of object oriented languages (Java) and design patterns. Working knowledge of messaging systems (TIBCO Rendezvous, Message Queues(MQ)), C#, Rich Client Platform(RCP). Solid knowledge of Swing. Solid knowledge of XML parsing, DTD and schema. Solid knowledge of SQL and database persistence mechanisms (Hibernate, JDBC). Production support experience Understanding of fixed income financial instruments such as bonds and derivatives.
