Position : Data Analyst Location : McLean, VA Duration : 10+ months
*Must have experiance mortgage banking business and/or secondary mortgage market, SAS* Scope of Services to be performed. CONSULTANT will conduct data analysis for the Business Data Dictionary and CLIENT subject area teams to determine the best fit of common entities and attributes to add into the CLIENT Business Data Dictionary (“the Data Dictionary”). CONSULTANT will conduct requirements analysis and CLIENT subject area teams to develop content for the data dictionary CONSULTANT will conduct business process analysis to develop content for the data dictionary CONSULTANT will interface with business clients in eliciting data requirements to support critical project needs. CONSULTANT will develop data models and content utilizing both XML Spy Editor and ER Studio. Requirements System access to the appropriate CLIENT environment(s)/application(s) will be provided to CONSULTANT resource(s) listed in Section VII on or before the start date. Facilities access to the appropriate CLIENT building(s) will be provided to CONSULTANT resource(s) listed in Section VII on or before the start date. Computer equipment and tools needed to perform the Services listed in Section I above will be provided to CONSULTANT resource(s) listed in Section VII on or before the start date. CONSULTANT will be accountable for the deliverable(s) outlined in section VI on this SOW under responsibility and direction from the CLIENT and CLIENT Manager identified in Section IV (c). Required Skills: Minimum 5 years experience in complex data analysis and relational data modeling Strong analytical skills, particularly in modeling based on analysis of documentation and profiling sample data Ability to achieve consensus on modeling structure and naming standards Advanced experience with data analysis tools including MS Excel, MS Query, MS Access, SQL, and/or SAS Experience gathering and documenting business and data requirements Familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) project methodologies Understanding of business process redesign Solid knowledge of the mortgage banking business and/or secondary mortgage market Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and manage multiple tasks Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills: Experience with ER Studio, ERwin or similar data modeling tools Knowledge of XML Schema Definition Language Knowledge of Financial Modeling and/or XBRL ---------------------------------------- Thanks & Regards, Mahesh Gunnam mahes...@catstaffing-us.com | maheshg....@gmail.com| Sr.Technical Recruiter | CAT Technology Inc.
