Position : QA Test Lead Location : McLean, VA Duration : 6 months *
Must have 10 + years of experience in lead role in quality assurance and testing environment, UAT on complex COTS Implementation and Misys Loan IQ Software * Project: Multifamily is implementing the Misys Loan IQ COTS solution as the new Multifamily Servicing system, which will enable competitive Purchase & Boarding, Loan Accounting, and Transaction Accounting functions within MF Operations Test Lead: Project lead for UAT on complex COTS Implementation Define and manage overall test strategy and execution of UAT Over see documentation and review of test scenarios and scripts Manage day-to-day testing activities, including but not limited to; progress tracking, defect tracking and resolution, vendor interaction, IT group interaction, etc. Requirements: 10 + years of experience in lead role in quality assurance and testing environment Understanding of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies Ability to define and drive timelines for test planning, test cycles and test execution ensuring planned test coverage is achieved with in the given documented assumptions on quality, environments and external dependencies Ability to identify test resource needs based on the scope and functionality to be tested and assign testing activities to the identified resources. Ability to identify and evaluate testing issues, risks and develop an action plan/strategy to resolve issues within project timelines Strong analytical, problem solving, and testing skills Experience in the various types of testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance, performance/volume/stress) preferred Solid understanding of release and quality management processes Experience with Misys Loan IQ Software preferred Ability to understand business requirements specifications and technical specifications Ability to recognize a problem and resolve with little supervision and know when to escalate an issue Experience using a variety of requirements and testing tools (DOORS, Test Manger, Quality Center, ClearCase, etc.) As part of the release UAT effort provide assessment of overall test execution, identify pain points and areas of improvement around the test practice in general.
