*Job Title: Performance Tester * *Location: Roseland, NJ* *Duration: 5+ Months * *Rate: Open * *Note:* - *4 years experience in software testing. * - *TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, etc is MUST* - *MTS, CORBA, JavaBeans Knowledge and experience with gateway technologies is MUST* * * *Job Description: * - Review application architecture and design strategies - Analyze applications and characterize performance of systems to identify bottlenecks Communicate performance tradeoffs at all levels of IT organization Develop scripts to automate performance testing of systems and execute load testing of systems under extremely tight timelines Work with Product and Program Management to define performance quality of service metrics Develop and/or implement test harnesses and educate software development and test teams on their use Lead performance test resources and activities *Skills Required:* - Must have at least 4 years experience in software testing - Multi-tier client/server applications with the last 2 years performing stress, load, scalability testing Must be proficient in one or more testing. - Mercury Loadrunner, Silk Performer, Rational Performance Studio (PREFERABLY LOADRUNNER) - Experience with RDBMS concepts, SQL, Oracle and/or SQL Server Detailed knowledge of and experience with advanced networking concepts: - TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, etc. - Experience with web technologies: Web Servers, Browsers, Cookies, XML, HTML, JVM, JavaScript or VBScript, SSL, LDAP, JSF, SOAP, JWS, WSDL etc. - Experience with transaction server technologies: MTS, CORBA, JavaBeans Knowledge and experience with gateway technologies is MUST: - SNA, Microsoft SNA, IBM AIX UNIX, Sar. -- Neo Technical Recruiter 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton,New Jersey – 08810 | P: 201-204-3883 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM: [email protected] | [email protected]
