*Seeking a Sr. Agile QA engineer (**AGILE EXPERIENCE IS MUST!)* ** * * *Detroit, MI * * NEED TO BE AN AGILE PRACTITIONER, PHONE INTERVIEW FIRST THEN FACE TO FACE* *Rate : Open * *SUMMARY: * The *SQA* Engineer II, based in MI, will be part of Quality Assurance department. The *SQA* Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the Quality and Sustaining efforts of ODS products. This includes functionality testing performance/load testing, ensuring the systems will perform as designed and handle customer loads. The *SQA* Engineer II will be responsible for developing, creating, and executing performance test plans and test cases which reflect expected usage. The *SQA* Engineer will be responsible for mining usage logs and creating scripts that reflect true customer usage of our systems. This engineer will interface directly with the project teams, representing all aspects of QA for the project. The *SQA* engineer II must be strong in testing process and methodologies, and should be able to debug issues using these processes. *Key Responsibilities: * * Understand user behavior and write scripts that reflect user*s usage of various products * Review requirements, specifications and project plans * Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts * Provide test estimates for larger QA testing efforts * Work with software developers to review and improve test plans and code design * Coordinate testing for larger projects with a team of testers * Be flexible and creative in handling multiple activities and contentions in priorities. * Create automation scripts for all aspects of functional testing using *FitNesse and/or TestNG and SeleniumRC* * Maintain load scripts for all aspects of performance testing using *Silk Performer* * Create load scripts for all aspects of performance testing using *JMeter* * Maintain automation scripts for all aspects of testing with Silk Test * Create performance test scripts for both end to end testing and testing of specific components. * Maintain performance scripts, collect usage logs, create appropriate scripts * Provide analysis of performance tests and work with various groups to resolve issues * Defect Tracking and defect maintenance, root cause analysis * Continual process improvement ** Interface with Customer Support Center**.* *Requirements * * * 4+ years experience in system level QA Testing * 4+ years experience in Java and/or J2EE development in an **Agile**environment * 4+ years experience with Source Code Management like CVS or SubVersion * 4+ years experience with Defect Management like Jira * 4+ years experience with scripting /programming languages; preferably using FitNesse and/or TestNG and SeleniumRC to create, run and analyze tests A demonstrated working knowledge of: * Excellent communication skills, written and verbal * Self motivated and takes initiative * Work well with cross-functional organizations * Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment * Pay great attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment * Automated Test Design * SeleniumRC * Fitnesse and/or TestNG * Web application testing and/or Web service testing * Java & HTML * Configuration Management Systems & build environments * Unix/Linux * Databases * API testing, test harness creation * Thorough understanding of the software development process and all aspects of quality assurance. * Familiarity with **SEI CMM** and software process improvement* *Nice to have*: * Knowledge of Continuous Integration like *TeamCity, CruiseControl or Hudson* * Knowledge of *Defect Management like Jira * * Experience in *JavaDoc, J2EE, Oracle*, * Knowledge of *RDBMS* * *Experience in Segue Silk Automation Tools* CLIENT IS A very regimented hands-on testing protocol around test driven development and other *agile* disciplines * BA or BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience -- Regards Santosh Delight Consulting Services LLC. 2565 S.
