Thanks Location: Sioux Falls, SD or Des Moines, IA Rate: $40 Duration: 6-12 Months No of Postion: 1 Interview: By Phone Contractor should be someone who would be able to be a part of our on-call rotation which is 1 full week, 24 x 7 supports every 12 weeks. Primary Skills: • *Hands on working experience and an expert for MS SQL Server 2005, and 2008 which includes SSRS, SSAS* *• Hands on working experience upgrading from MS SQL Server 2000 to MS SQL Server 2005 and to MS SQL Server 2008* *• Hands on working experience with Windows 2003 and 2008 Server and Windows Clustering* *• Knowledge of database replication, log shipping, data mirroring* *• Knowledge and experience of converting from DTS to SSIS* *• Knowledge and experience using Sybase Power Designer to manage database models* *• Perl scripting to maintain infrastructure scripts* *• Ability to problem solve database issues while on-call 24x7* *• Knowledge of performance data collection, performance monitoring and performance improvement. * *• Knowledge of backups and recovery, Security Administration, Database and Server Performance Monitoring and Tuning, and Capacity Planning.* * * *Working experience with Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server - strength should be in MS SQL Server and Oracle however need some experience with Sybase so they can help look into problems while providing on-call support. * Sai satish Marketing Manager- Team lead Aim Computer Consulting 17197 N.
