*Location: Lawrenceville, NJ (locals are highly preferred for interview schedule)* *Duration: 6 months* *Description:* *Recent Financial Exp is big plus* • At least 8 years of Oracle DBA on a UNIX and/or Linux environment, 2 years of ASM and RAC. • Extensive knowledge of physical database design. • Experience with installations and upgrades of Oracle server software, creating databases, database objects, users, roles etc. • Experience loading and managing large volumes (millions of transactions) of data into a database, as well as with data replication techniques. • Experience managing large databases (1+ TB) of data stored in the database. • Must be able to work with the existing DBAs and be able to proactively communicate status to management. • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance. • Must be willing to work with other IT teams to debug and resolve critical issues. • Experience with Dataguard, Streams, ASO, TAF, FAN, OID, OEM/GC - a BIG PLUS. • OCA or OCP -- Rakesh [email protected] 732-333-4382
