Senior Database Programmer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 months+
Description/Required Skills:
- Position needed to extract data from multiple hierarchical databases in a heterogeneous environment for reporting from a data warehouse.
Applicant should have the follow skill set:
- Knowledge of both SQL Server and Oracle.
- In Depth Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL.
- In Depth Knowledge of data model and the mechanics of database concepts.
- Including database normalization and SQL optimization techniques.
- Able to use utilities like TOAD or SQL Plus or Visual Studio to understand relationships between tables.
- Knows data access protocols for SQL Server and Oracle.
- 8+ Years Experience Preferred.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Expected to be able to learn the business model and translate data requests into data outputs.
- C# experience is a plus.
