Client is looking for a solution to integrate the hierarchy and making sure the solution works for the self-service modules (which depend on hierarchy). They need someone who has some real strong hands on development experience and again understands hierarchy structures (b/c there are multiple), how they work with SS and preferably someone who has some hands on experienceintegrating/customizing hierarchy to meet client needs.
