*Job Title: Sr. EDI Developer/Analyst Location: Portland, OR Duration : 4-6 Months Contract.* *Must have excellent communication skills* Sr. EDI Developer/Analyst to provide EDI development, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for company infrastructure. Assist internal and external customers with EDI related projects, Trizetto Facets 4.71, HIPPA 5010 and ICD10 upgrade project participation. *Essential Functions:* Create data translation maps, set up trading partners, trade agreements, and communication methods. Create processes, scripts, and scheduled tasks to automate file transmissions and provide automated notification of errors or problems. Create and maintain stored procedures. Troubleshoot existing translation maps, processes, stored procedures, and modify if necessary. Communicate with trading partners regarding problems or questions on electronic transactions. Support HIPPA 4010 and ICD9 environments and related transactions. Participate in HIPPA 5010 and ICD10 upgrade projects to meet regulatory compliance dates. Develop and maintain documentation for the EDI system and processes. Resolve errors, identify formatting, data content, or timeliness issues, and communicate with trading partners of issues. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned. *Required Skills & Experience:* Experience with EDI programming modifications and support in HIPPA 4010 and ICD9 environments. Health Plan environment experience a plus. Programming experience with SQL, NET required; VB and C++ a plus Understanding of data security concepts, data mapping/translation and OCR and imaging processes.
