Location: Redmond, WA. Duration: 5+ months Job Responsibilities: A minimum of 5 years of database-related experience in a production environment o Biztalk Advanced expertise desired, .NET 3.5, ASP/ASP.NET Advanced expertise required, Intermediate understanding of networking. Coding, performance tuning and deep dive knowledge on the above skills. Advanced Architectural and business functional knowledge. o Strong database related skills in SQL Server 2005/2008,performance tuning, failover technologies and strategies o SQL performance tuning and data analysis o T-SQL stored procedure development, analysis, and troubleshooting o Database implementation, db internals * Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system * A minimum of 2 years of IIS experience in a production environment * 2 + years Production Support experience managing enterprise application * Thorough understanding of service management foundations such as ITIL or MOF * Ability to analyze live-site issues quickly and possess a thorough understanding of client/server architectures and high-availability clustered environments * Outstanding customer service/focus skills * Knowledge in monitoring tools and configuring them, such as MOM/SCOM. * Prior practical experience with change control, source control, disaster recovery and backup strategies required * You must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a critical thinker, with excellent oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices and business processes. * A BS/MS in computer science, information systems, and engineering and/or equivalent industry experience required.
