A successful candidate would have recent domain expertise in air defense software development, JAVA programming and CORBA architecture experience, and a proven track record in small group engineering teams. Tasks involve UOR specific requirements analysis, software design modifications, coding, and support of software test and system test activities of a modified battle management command and control software application. This is an international program requiring detailed coordination and collaboration with UK based companies and government agencies. Skills Required: Candidate should have knowledge of Java software development on a Windows-platform and knowledge of formal software engineering methods and processes. The candidate's primary tasks will be to design and develop software in JAVA. Candidate must have demonstratable experience in leading successful software teams as well as experience with managing Program or Project level costs and schedules. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to obtain Secret Clearance. Some international travel required. Skills Perferred: Proven ability to interface with and communicate with customers is highly desireable.
