* * *Role: Java Developer* *Location: Sarasota, FL* *Duration: 6 Months+* *Required Skills*: · * **Java Oracle 10G MySQL Linux AIX* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or experience equivalent to education. · Minimum of 9 Years total relevant IT experience. · Minimum of 6 Years Applications Development experience · Experience in MS and various UNIX development environments, Linux and AIX are preferred. · Development Experience with Web technologies, Web Services, XML, HTML, HTTP, JAVA, JavaScript, Visual C, ASP, & Visual Basic and other internet technologies. · Experience in software development with Oracle 10g, MySQL, and MS SQL data connectivity. · Experience working in a client/server and/or Web environment, and design and develop software using structured techniques. · Develop structured software as required to meet the specified business requirements. · Work closely with the Help Desk and IT Operations teams, to quickly and efficiently solve end user issues that may adversely affect business operation. · Must have strong experience and knowledge of various web technologies and programming languages. · Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft and Unix Operating Systems. · Must have a working understanding of SDLC. · Comfortable with high levels of detail and data accuracy. · Must have a strong knowledge of Code Management Systems. · Ability to test Software (automated). · Must possess a strong level of experience with Application Integration. · Strong knowledge of web application architecture · Understanding of web development processes, including design, development tools, technologies, QA and deployment. · Must be able to maintain productive workflow of multiple projects at once. · Address performance issues in an effort to ensure that all applications are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic.
