Job Title  :  Business Systems Analyst
Location  :  Bridgewater,NJ
Duration  : 6 Months Contract Opportunity*


Roles :
Mega Upgrade - Upgrade from CARS 3.12 to 3.13, Oracle 9i to 10g and move
from our current Unix server to a VMware set-up. Candidate will be
responsible for assisting end-to-end testing all

modules (Master data, Contract Management, Utilization Submissions, External
Data, Rebates/Chargebacks, Membership Exchange, CARS EDI extracts, CARS API
etc.) and test the batch programs

such as vacuum, sweeper, sweeper turbo etc.
Candidate must possess thorough overall knowledge of CARS (technically and
functionally).

Requirments:
Thorough working knowledge of CARS, both business and technical with special
emphasis on Chargebacks.
Oracle with a strong background in SQL and PL/SQL.
UNIX shell scripts.
 Ability to read and interpret complex data models, design data
transformation processes, design and create Oracle objects.
Ability to manage own work schedule as well as additional project resources,
taking into consideration outstanding tasks, resource availability and
business requirements for meeting company goals and

objectives
Strong interpersonal skills, a good negotiator and communicator with strong
written and oral skills.
Project management with an understanding of System Development Lifecycle
(SDLC) methods in the definition, implementation and running of software
applications.

Experience:
Broad understanding of client server systems, local and wide area
networking, and distributed computing environments.
Provide production support for a team of 10-15 users.
Understanding of relational database design principles, methodologies &
techniques.
Initiative & ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal
guidance or direction.
Certification in application or system technologies and/or undergraduate
degree.
Previous consulting experience
Minimum 5+ years experience
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
2+ years in I-many CARS system

Good to Know:
Generally accepted good business practices in a research based
Pharmaceutical or Fortune 1000 company.
Experience with Data and Processing modeling tools and techniques using a
formal methodology.
Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Design.
Knowledge and understanding of data retrieval tools, such as, Cognos,
PowerPlay, Impromptu.
Working knowledge of web applications
