Sr. Active Directory Global Deployment Manager/Architect

Our client is looking for a Sr. Active Directory Team Lead to be part of a
major company initiative which is currently in design phase w/deliverable
due Q1 *10, for all 55,000 users globally - to combine 2 platforms- Global
initiative.

This group is charged with bringing 2 Active Directory platforms together as
one. Environment: currently on Win2003 and moving to Win2007, with Win 2008
Svr / Active Directory as the backend.

Strong Active Directory experience * will also act as the SME as well * with
a background that should go back to WinNT, thru 2003 Server.

Must be good with process, bringing deliverables in on a timely basis, able
to roll up their sleeves and get involved w/tech*l issues, saavy
w/architectural framework, etc.

The Deployment Manager will be the lead for the rollout of AD infrastructure
and services globally


* Responsible for global green-field infrastructure deployment based on core
design.
* Engage stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements based on legal,
technical, and support inputs
* Engage OneBranch project to define the project requirements from an Active
Directory implementation
* Collaborate with teams (all stakeholder groups; EUS, DS, ACC, Desktop,
Service Desk, Provisioning) to structure the support model for new
architecture and processes
* Feed deployment and operational requirements from stakeholders into
engineering streams for realization.
* Manage the procurement/deployment of HW/SW.
* Define the infrastructure decommission strategy for AD as iDesktop
consumers transition from legacy to green-field AD.
* Work with Supply Management to define vendor relationships.

* SW and HW Vendor contract definition and finalization
* Infrastructure design and regional/branch office, location, jurisdiction,
subsidiary signoff.
* Decommission strategy for legacy infrastructure (processes and application
not included)
* Align deployment planning with all streams dependent on AD
* Manage forward looking network deployment plan
* Define test/deployment end-end process (co-ordinate change management)
* Integrate plans with other strategic initiatives
