Please respond to [email protected] Job Title: Business Analyst w/ERP & CRM Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 6+ Months Skills Needed: × Ability to design and implement solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with mission-critical Oracle-based solutions. × Outstanding listening skills. × Ability to quickly take notes in design discussions. × Ability to manage a meeting, ensuring that all relevant ideas are heard, that the meeting stays on topic, and that minutes and action items are faithfully recorded and communicated. × Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent problem solving skills and lateral thinking for creative solutions. × Strong logical/analytical skills with a keen ability to anticipate and avoid problems. × Able to decompose and solve problems at the appropriate level within the system, keeping in mind the higher-level structures and their requirements and dependencies with adjoining subsystems. × Able to create clear process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and the like. × Ability to work well within a team environment, and have the will and the ability to succeed in an environment that includes offshore development. Frequent night and weekend work is required for offshore development management and assistance with scheduled code releases. × Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. × Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences. × Attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once. × Clear understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and respective experience with its application in design and development phases. × Excellent Oracle SQL skills and ability to quickly formulate ad hoc queries and reports. × Ability to design, validate and execute software test plans. QA experience is very helpful. × Highly self motivated and directed. × Good negotiation and persuasion skills; ability to negotiate consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience needed: × 2+ years (BA) or 5+ years (Sr. BA) experience as a technical or business analyst, developing business requirements and functional specifications on large-scale apps (ERP, CRM, etc.). × (Technical writer) - 2+ years preparing end-user system documentation and training materials for a large-scale application. × Experience working with offshore teams preferred. × Experience in automotive marketing and/or CRM applications preferred. × 3+ years (BA) or 7+ years (Sr. BA) of overall IT/software development experience × 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries in Oracle. Working knowledge of SQL Server preferred. × Quality assurance and/or reporting experience preferred. × Training experience helpful. × TFS experience preferred. Education Requirements: × Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (and/or 5 years equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or a related discipline. × PMP certifications a plus.
