*EXP in SAP HCM is a added advantage.* *Location: *Lansing, MI *Duration :* 6 Months * * *Data Warehouse Developer/Data Analyst with the following skills:* * * *Requirements:* · Experience must include 6+ years of hands-on relational, E/R, dimensional data modeling experience in large transaction and data warehouse environments · Experience in ODS and/or Reporting Database development · Strong Oracle skills are a must (PL/SQL must be STRONG) · Familiarity with Finance functional area or HR functional area is requested · Development, monitoring and support of extraction jobs from *SAP** BW and/or **SAP** **ECC** is a plus* · * **Information Server -DataStage ETL *development experience is a plus · Design and develop interfaces using DataStage/ Information Server –* **SAP** BW/**ECC** Packs ** **is a plus* · * **Familiarity with** **SAP** **HCM** module is a plus* · * **Familiarity with ORACLE **RAC** is a plus* · Strong Data Analyst with good leadership skills *Additional Qualifications:* · Experience with Linux and Oracle database administration · Candidate must be familiar with most of the features of Oracle such as partitioning, materialized views, views, indexing strategy, explain plans and performance improvement. · Experience must include 5+ years of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle or other RDBMS systems · Strong experience in data analysis and data transformation is required · Strong SQL and analytical skills are required, in particular working with Oracle in data warehousing environments · Demonstrated ability to develop and tune complex SQL queries is required · Previous experience mentoring junior level staff as well as project management experience helpful · Familiarity and hands on experience with Change Data Capture and Partioning is a plus · Experience in Cognos BI is a plus · Experience in Higher Education sector is a plus · Experience in developing Financial Systems and/or Human Resources system is a plus · Work with business requirements analyst to identify and understand source data systems. Ability to map source system data to data warehouse models · Must have strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to apply data warehouse architecture theories and concepts · Support change control and testing processes for modifications to data systems. Ongoing support of back-end data warehouse processes including bug fixing and performance improvement. · Candidate will also be eliciting requirements when necessary, designing reporting data models, preparing written design documents, developing extract/transform/load routines using either PL/SQL or DataStage or SAP Open Hub/IDoc/BAPI. · Candidate will monitor scheduled jobs, reviews the results to determine success/failure, documents success/failure, troubleshoots failures, provides up-to-date communication with the user community, and maintains documentation.
