At least five (5) years experience coding in online/*CICS and batch COBOL
/ IDMS / DB2.*
At least five (5) years experience on large scale projects developing in
online/CICS and batch COBOL.
At least five (5) years experience in the planning, creation, and
implementation of programming modules.
At least five (5) years experience preparing and facilitating formal
walk-through of online/CICS or batch programs, SAS mainframe programs, screens,
copybooks*, JCL, data structures, and unit test cases*.
At least five (5) years experience implementing coding changes within a
formal Release Management structure.
We need the consultants to beprogrammers but the key skill set would be
great analytical skills.
The consultant needs to haveexperience in theIBM Mainframe world the key
skill sets and must have good experience: Cobol*, IDMS, CICS, IBM Mainframe,
and DB2.*
*Excellent Analytical Skills*
(Consultants need to be able to easily transfer code into requirement)
Juniper experience is a HUGE plus but not likely you will find a Cobol
programmer with this skill set.
CICS- (Customer Information Control System) is an online transaction
processing program
IDMS- (Integrated Database Management System) is a (network) CODASYL
database management system
