BTC has an urgent contract for one of our client. *Title: Senior Java Developer, Corporate IT Services* *Location: Chicago* *Duration: 2-3 months* *Rate open* *SUMMARY:* Corporate IT Services is in need of a Java Developer to support development efforts for LCFCP (Legal, Compliance & Financial Crime Prevention) space. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Build, design, develop and deliver regulatory reports sourced from various sources · Working as a Senior Analyst/Programmer and establishing strong relationships with business and technical resources throughout the project. · Working with business resources to identify and understand business requirements. · Issue investigation, reporting and resolution. · Analysis of business requirements, and compliance issues. · Design System Test Plan and involve in Functional and Integration testing. · Active involvement in User Acceptance Test process · Other duties or projects as assigned. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * · Over 6 years of extensive experience in Java / J2EE platform based Software analysis, design, development and delivering mission critical and challenging projects · Extensive experience of interacting with business and good understanding of various asset classes. · Extensively used Core Java, J2EE, Oracle, Sybase ASE with Object Oriented Analysis/Design, UML and Design Patterns. · Have good experience of using development frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. · Experience of using Agile, Scrum, RAD and Test driven development methodologies. · Have good Client facing, interpersonal, communication and technical skills. *DESIRED SKILLS:* · Certified by Sun and IBM. · Experience of developing and maintaining Trading platforms and integration with external feed (i.e. Reuters Market Data System). · Experience of analyzing, designing and developing financial applications in Front and Middle office environments. *EDUCATION:* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience If you are qualified, available, interested, planning to make a change, or know of a friend who might have the required qualifications and interest, please call me ASAP at (781) 544-4799 Ext. 110, even if we have spoken recently about a different position.
