** *Job Description*: - Looking for a Business Analyst Manager, with a strong quantitative background, good understanding of statistics, and experience with relational databases. - Should have strong experience in SAS and SQL Programming, solid knowledge of UNIX environment and basic UNIX scripting. - Strong understanding of basic statistical concepts (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, design of experiments, sample size determination, statistical significance etc.) is required. - Familiarity with multivariate analysis, data mining techniques is a huge plus. - Must also have a good understanding/experience in application of statistics to business scenarios. - Must be capable of working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, and be able to communicate technically intricate concepts/results in business terms. - BS (MS preferred), in a quantitative field (statistics/engineering). - Experience with Base SAS, SAS STAT and SAS Enterprise Miner required. - Must have 6-8 years experience with SQL (preferably on Teradata), and a good understanding of relational databases(foreign keys, primary keys, normalization etc.). - Knowledge of UNIX required. - Must have at least 3-4 years experience managing a globally distributed team. - Preferred to have 4+ years of personnel management experience, including growing an organization and mentoring of individuals. - Excellent communication/presentation skills required.
