Minimum exp 10 years We have the following requirement with our direct client for an Expert level Information Security Specialist · Skills for Information Security Specialist at an expert level to include: o Demonstrated understanding of information security methods and models in a high density, highly virtualized service provider environment o Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment methodologies and corresponding mitigation strategies; o Demonstrated understanding of security best practices related to cloud computing, virtualization, remote access methodologies, perimeter protection and authentication for a service provider environment o Proven track record in designing and implementing security architecture and best practices in a high density, highly virtualized service provider environment o Ability to recommend security strategies and solutions that comply with the ISB Policy and Standards and regulatory requirements to protect the state’s data and resources o Expert technical writing skills and documentation skills to support the development of requirements of a service provider environment and o Documentation of reference architecture for enterprise service providers o Ability to provide detail level technical designs and documentation o Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design to support enterprise class service provisioning in a state data center o Demonstrated experience in the area of Data Center design to support; large-scale statewide telecommunications, IT security, complex computing environments that includes wide area networking, mainframe computing, client server systems, storage management, data center facilities and telephony technologies such as Unified Communications. o Data Center expertise in the area of convergence with compute and storage transport over IP with a keen focus in the area of integration, wireless technologies, switching fabrics, and the integration of security. o Experience with cloud computing and binding the security policy in a dynamic environment with both applications and the network infrastructure.
