*This is Not a pure JAVA development position – there is 24x7 support
involved in a Java J2EE environment. *

7-10 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web
experience Description: Leads the development and implementation of highly
complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms.
Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java
Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database
modeling tools and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems
specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and
implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.
Researches and tracks new web technologies, develops service applications,
and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems.
Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation
and security policy and standards. May provide direction and guidance to
less experienced staff.

The Web Developer 5 must have a comprehensive knowledge of multiple
technical disciplines. Experience and desire to independently research,
analyze and correct payment transaction issues. Document and recommend
resolution to defects identified. Strong verbal and written communication
skills required. Help desk experience desired. Daily hands-on
investigation/research activities to resolve production application issues
related to web development code and database functionality. This also
includes daily resolution of issues relating to batch processes and third
party payment interactions Day-to-day . Research, analyze and resolve
problems related to Payments & Wireless applications, individual
transactions and processes discrepancies.

Troubleshoot online application and transaction issues associated with
Batch, Database, Wireless and/or User Interfaces. . Work closely with
internal customer facing organizations such as On-line Customer Service,
Phone Bank, Storevision, Wealth Management to research online payment
transaction issues. . Interface and coordinate research/resolution of issues
with operations teams, Production Support Group, Technology Information
Group and other servicing organizations. . Identify bugs and other
enhancements associated with Payments & Wireless applications, providing
documentation and tracking information . Use ClearQuest, Pac2000 and other
tracking tools. Ensure SOX compliance is met. . Partner with Business,
Application, Infrastructure and QA groups to ensure proper alignment and
delivery of business vision and strategy.

Assist in proactive research and evaluation of emerging and existing
payments & wireless technologies, and technology trends. . Own issue
resolution from beginning to end (Status: Open to Status: Closed). . 7x24
rotational after-hour support
