PeopleSoft Data Base Administrator will be responsible for all development, test and production databases in our PeopleSoft environments. The DBA will work closely with a PeopleSoft DBA and PeopleSoft development team on all PeopleSoft database environments current and new. Primarily responsible for PeopleTools upgrade from 8.47 to 8.50 (the most current) and upgrading current 10g Oracle PeopleSoft databases to 11g. Knowledge of LINUX/Windows scripting, PeopleTools tuning of application, web and batch servers architecture a requirement. Other responsibilities include Oracle Software installations, configurations, backup/recovery, performance tuning and SQL tuning. The DBA will also be responsible for the migration of objects and code from Dev/Test to Production database environments. Required Work Experience: Must know the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture Must have successfully configured, tuned, implemented and supported PeopleTools 8.50. Components included are integration broker, batch, application and web servers. Must have successfully, tuned, implemented and supported Tuxedo and BEA Weblogic 10. Must have successfully installed, configured, tuned and implemented an Oracle 10g to Oracle 11g upgrade for PeopleSoft HR/FS application.
