Examples of current technologies include HTML/DHTML, JavaScript and Applets (which handle web browser events and support user interaction), struts for page flow and navigation; Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm skills are also required, as well as knowledge of important Internet Explorer browser extensions, Model View Controller (MVC) patterns and other web technologies, including XML, JAXP, SAX, DOM and XSLT; server side examples include Servlets and JSPs. Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. Provides mentoring and training to junior staff. Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues. Required education/experience: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. 10 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development. Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
