Please send me qualified candidates.* * Coldfusion Developer* Location: Foster City, CA Duration: 12 months+ Job Function: Collaborate with Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and other Developers to understand business requirements for customizing and developing Java applications, utilizing our Systems Development Life Cycle processes. Facilitate the creation and maintenance of Use Cases to document business processes. Document proposed solutions in UML context and or sequence diagrams. Participate in all levels of Design Reviews. Assess Functional Spec Documents for completeness, Develop Technical Design Documents, and provide detailed level of effort estimates. Ensure adherence to appropriate documentation and programming standards, as well as the approved procedures for making changes to any production environment. Skills/Knowledge Requirements: - 7+years of successful experience in software development, using at least one of the SDLC models. - Strong Object Oriented Java development skills using common frameworks/tools such as Spring, Struts, ORM (Hibernate), JSP/Servlets, and Web Services (WSDL, XML Schema). - Setup, configuration and trouble shooting of production issues on linux/unix application servers. (Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache2). - Expert level of Oracle 9/10g and the ability to write PL/SQL procedures/packages, data modeling, and efficient SQL queries. - Cold Fusion 7/8 design and development experience using components (CFC) and common architectures (ColdSpring, Model-Glue, etc.) - Web UI skills in HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax. Preferred Skills: - Experience working on intranet and collaboration platforms like Jive, wikis, and content management systems. Plugin and customization experience is a plus. - Familiarity with Microsoft .net/C#/SQLServer technologies. - Previous experience using RIA technologies like Flex/Flash, ZK, GWT, EXT, or other Ajax frameworks. - Experience on build tools (ANT, Maven) and test-driven software development practises (jUnit, HttpUnit).
