Must have expertise in advanced Teradata concepts and be able to add value to the overall Data Architecture team in the Teradata space. Responsible for all aspects of Teradata database operations including the design, installation, security and disaster recovery for all Properties. Train staff on Teradata technologies. Creation of documentation and standards. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Participate in the design and implementation of Teradata Data Marts (if any are created) derived from the Enterprise Mandatory Skills: - builds and maintains the EDW logical and physical models in the context of the Teradata Manufacturing Logical Data Model (mLDM). - understands the current EDW data landscape but is primarily responsible for the integrated design of the future state EDW in Teradata. - works closely with other team members to implement process improvements & software functionality in direct support of the delivery of EDW projects. - works closely with others external to the EDW team in the deployment of shared data assets, rationalizing redundant data assets, and implementation of information management best practices (such as data archiving, master data management, and metadata management). - Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and information management best practices. - Extensive experience defining and rationalizing complex data models within a Teradata data warehousing environment - Experience and familiarity with Teradata\'s Manufacturing Logical Data Model (mLDM) or other industry reference models - Positive attitude, ethics, and International Values which support our company\'s values and a healthy, high performance culture. 1. Performance tuning, Teradata BTEQ , Teradata SQL programming , Teradata V12, ROLAP/OLAP Development 2. Teradata interface development – FastLoad and FastExport 3. Statistics and AJIs 4. Teradata ETL and SQL Assistant 5. Unix Shell Scripting, batch processing, CVS Secondary Skills: - Extensive experience in defining, implementing, and executing data analysis concepts such as profiling, lineage, impact analysis, mapping - Experience defining and implementing data quality audits and metrics - Experience in developing and implementing information management strategies - Knowledge of messaging such as message queues, SOA and web services - Experience in utilizing project management, business analysis, and development methodologies -Ability to translate functional concepts into technical designs, and conversely to translate complex information into common terms - Strong analytical and problem solving skills often entailing diagnosing and resolving complex or unusual issues - Sound judgment and reasoning skills - Demonstrates a strong attention to quality and detail - Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including strong presentation skills - Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project) - Capable of leading large, diverse groups through significant and challenging issues - Demonstrates strong time management, organizational, & administrative skills - Develops a positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and others outside the team - Teradata DBA experience a plus * If interested, please reply with resumes matching above requirements along with these details: *Have you consulted with your candidate on above requirement?
