Thank you in advance for your assistance Role : QA w/Risk Management Location : NYC Duration : 6+ months Rate : $40/hr Keys - UNIX and Risk Management experience. If "Risk Management" isn't on the resume it's not the right fit.. This position is for the Backend Testing & Automation using QTP tool and Candidate should have additional skills as follows Expertise in UNIX shell scripting Knowledge in Enterprise Risk Management applications Expertise in VB scripting Expertise in database (Oracle/SQL Server) Expertise in programming knowledge and hands on experience with Quality Center Plans, develops, and executes various components of system testing and/or quality assurance. Approaches testing and quality assurance from a business point of view by creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure delivered functionality meets the business need. Develops specific test conditions and expected results for regression, functionality, and stress testing. Provides daily guidance to the testing efforts of the application project teams. Reviews product requirements and design specifications to create a QA test plan. Executes test scripts to validate test cases, including creating and executing complex automated test scripts. Creates QA test procedures to assure accurate and repeatable test results. Creates test estimates from design documentation and creates quality assurance project schedules. Creates documents to apprise project team members as to the status of meeting defined quality goals. These may include: QA Status Report, QA Summary Reports, QA Test Logs, and Maintain issue and defect databases. Conducts? Bug scrub meetings? And status review meetings. Provides quality assurance feedback throughout the project life cycle.
