Location : Raleigh, NC Duration : 6 Months * Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Required: 1. PMI Project Management Professional certification. 2. Minimum of 10 years direct experience in project or program management. 3. Minimum 12 years in technology-related work. 4. Minimum proficiency in MS Project 2003 or 2007: Intermediate (able to manipulate settings and configure the tool for special needs) 5. Minimum proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint: Advanced (able to use the tool for complex applications) 6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience The candidate must demonstrate the following KSA: 1. Experience in the practical application of the 9 project management knowledge areas 2. Experience in integrating technical, business, and organizational change components in a project 3. Ability to communicate across functional areas 4. Ability to lead and bring goals to fruition 5. Skills in problem solving, negotiating, and conflict management 6. Deep capacity for demanding and stressful project work Preferred: • Sharepoint experience • Experience with managing projects for the State of NC and familiarity with the State’s portfolio management reporting • Experience with IEEE or CMMI standards • Knowledge of one or more of the following: tax processing applications, website content management or infrastructure, CRM, knowledge management, or business intelligence Regards, Sreevalli
