Location : Raleigh, NC Duration : 6 Months Responsibilities will include: * • Design and build the Crime Control & Public Safety (CCPS) portals • Working closely with leadership and as a member of the SharePoint team • Understanding and developing requirements for the next generation CCPS websites. • Design of the portals • Creating department and division site branding • Prototype web site • Identifying additional SharePoint web part functionality • Creation of the new CCPS websites utilizing SharePoint 2007 (MOSS). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Required: • Experience in corporate branding, web graphics creation, web site layout, and web site design required • Building Intranet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint • Proficient with CSS, HTML, Adobe Photoshop or equivalent professional graphics tool • Experience with designing and deploying Public facing websites – Internet, Extranet and Intranet sites • Experience with SharePoint 2007 content management and publishing • Experience in SharePoint 2007(MOSS) and SharePoint designer is a major plus • Understands taxonomies, navigation principles and corporate portal design best practices • Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, Dynamic HTML and JavaScript required • Converting existing content, sites, services into SharePoint 2007 • Meets project deadlines and likes working in a fast paced environment • Communicate with both technical and non-technical staff to support analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting of project issues as related to usability and design • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player • A college graduate possessing 1-3 years of work experience • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure and production quality under deadline pressure • Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills • Work directly with application development to create style guidelines and standards • Web Graphics Design experience, SHAREPOINT 2007 Branding, DHTML, CSS, XHTML, JAVASCRIPT • Experience working in an AGILE Process based Team Preferred: • AJAX, SharePoint Designer Regards, Sreevalli
