Description ***CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL*** Job Title : Production/Change Management/Deployment Consultant MUST HAVE ALL Required Skills: MS PROJECT EXPERIENCE : Hold daily deployment meeting and extensive co-ordination with the Technical Project Managers, Software Developers, Testers, Production Support, SAs and DBAs for planning and scheduling the deployment of code in the Production and Non-Production environments. Reviewing and approving Unix, Windows and Database Installation instructions, verifying code base installs were successful. Creation of Deployment and Release plans in Microsoft Project. DEPLOYMENT and CHANGE MANAGEMENT : Experience with release and change management tools such as Clearcase (Mandatory), Infoman, PVCS, Safesource, and Defect tracking tool such as Teamtrack. Preparing the weekly change calendars, creating change controls and follow up on their Approvals. PRODUCTION SUPPORT UNIX (Solaris) and Win2k/2003as in Production support skills ( not a system admin ) . Scripting knowledge (UNIX shell scripting and vb.net . Ability to read and interpret logs. Working knowledge of Websphere application server, Actuate, IBM MQ, ConnectDirect, HTTPS and FTP. Building and supporting 3-tier environments. Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking architecture.
