Need a seasoned Informatica Developer with a strong Data Warehousing background. The technology will be Pro*C (or C), UNIX Shell scripting (AIX box w/Korn Shell) and Informatica (Version 8.6.1). This consultant will be working with old (legacy down stream) Data Warehouse systems. This individual will have to understand code very well for they will be working with some code that is 10 years old. They will be maintaining the legacy system and responding to changes in the new system. This person will have to dig into the old code, analyze it, make changes where needed and provide solutions based on his/her analysis. They will be running statistical information, data models, tables, and all aspects that need supported. The right consultant will have to understand Data Warehousing Concepts very well, such as OLTP, Star Schema, Snow Flake, Advanced SQL Tuning, Performance Tuning, etc. There will be new development required to add new tables, references, and dimensions. This will also require work with Campaign Analytics, Marketing Data, SQL Server 2000, and CMDM. The development will break down as follows: Pro*C: 40% UNIX Shell Scripting: 30% Informatica (v 8.6.1): 30% Daily Tasks: - Work on statistical/analytical and reporting tasks and enhancements on MARS, Iris and CMDM - Make changes in data models add needed - Create additional tables; this could include some new development of reference and/or dimensional tables - Look at the grain of the tables - Responding to changes in the upstream systems with the appropriate enhancements/changes to the down stream systems - Possibly do some regression testing of own work when the Oracle 10g upgrade takes place - Dig into/analyze code in the down stream systems and provide appropriate solutions based on analysis - Perform advanced SQL tuning and performance for Oracle tuning - Write complex UNIX shell scripts including being able to do wrappers around the scripts Required Skills: * INFORMATICA * PRO*C * UNIX * AIX * KORN SHELL SCRIPTING * SQL TUNING Thanks and Regards Sri Ph: 248-522-6862 Fax: 248-538-8435 <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] <http://www.compusoft-is.com/> Compusoft Integrated Solutions, Inc.
