*Skills Required:                        *

·         Sr. Developer - Core Java/ J2EE, PL/SQL

·         Must have a minimum of 7+ years of Hands-On Java/J2EE software
development experience using Object Oriented methodology.

·         Demonstrated hands-on experience in the development and testing of
client-server, WEB-based application.

·         Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, XML, XLST, Java Servlets, JSP,
Java Beans, SOAP, Web services, JDBC, HTTP, HTML, SOCKETS, SQL, PL/SQL, and
application servers (i.e. Websphere).

·         Hands on with Oracle PL/SQL and familiar with 10g features.

·         Demonstrated hands-on experience in UNIX (preferably Solaris)
environment and related UNIX utilities including shell scripts.

·         Ability to lead small to mid size project teams

·         Able to communicate effectively with both technical and
non-technical personnel.

·         Candidate ideally should possess subject matter expertise in the
following application areas: Apache Packages, Lucene etc.
Working knowledge of Adobe Lifecycle data services/ blaze DS.
Performance and stress testing including Java profiling
Understanding of how to apply UML and common design patterns.
Internet/Intranet/e-Commerce applications
Experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell Scripting in a UNIX
environment
Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills

Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs,
documents, and implements moderately complex software applications
- Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex
problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating
time, and form of desired results
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of
applications programming activities
