*Job Title* *Rate* *Job Type* *Location* *Duration* *#of openings* *DPW – PRODUCT SPECIALIST* * Open * *Open* * Harrisburg PA* * 4 Months* * * * * OBJECTIVES OF ENGAGEMENT The objective of this engagement is to continue assisting in the development and sharpening of HBSU/HCSIS staff knowledge, skills and expertise to continue moving from the older COM+ software and technologies to the newer .NET web service solutions and framework. In addition, all Crystal reporting is being decommissioned through out all HCSIS modules and we need to complete the conversion of all M4Q reports to Crystal by Sept 2009. The conversion of existing ASP applications to ASP.Net applications, stored procedures and other software is in support of the BIS/DPW Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) initiative and this contractor is a key player in assisting and guiding the HCSIS staff in developing, converting, testing, documenting and implementing these newer .net applications using industry best practices. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Specific work items for the contractor: • Work in a team environment for design, development, production and implementation support for the M4Q module of HCSIS: o Support, teach and mentor HBSU/HCSIS staff o Review, guide and recommend improvements to M4Q software o Assist other departmental staff where advanced technical knowledge is needed for support • Assist in the new IM4Q Considerations Tracking initiative all to be done in .net and SSRS: o Code using Visual Studio 2008, .Net framework 3.5, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, SSRS o Work with Deloitte to make use of any code/class reusability from similar tracking initiatives as suggested by Meghan • Assist in the preparation, project plan analysis and design of M4Q web applications (HRP, M4Q) conversion: o from ASP, ADO, COM+, and native Survey Generator o to Microsoft .Net Web Services utilizing ASP.Net and ADO.Net applications and Survey Generator.net. • Assist in the actual conversion work of M4Q web applications (HRP, IM4Q) from existing COM+ technology applications to current standard .NET applications utilizing the following knowledge: o Understand COM+, ADO and ASP o Code using Visual Studio 2008, .Net framework 3.5, ADO.Net and ASP.Net o Work with Deloitte in customizing Survey Generator .net to M4Q requirements o Work with Deloitte in customizing the new security model implemented in HCSIS to work with M4Q’s needs for FGAC (verses the preferred but inadequate for M4Q: generic database connections) • Assist in the migration of M4Q Program Office clients from Legacy COM+ web application (IM) to PWIM (.net IM version using web services): o Supporting staff in the migration of ODP Program Office to PWIM including any customization that may be needed to PWIM .net coding o Supporting staff in the migration of OMHSAS Program Office to PWIM including any customization that may be needed to PWIM .net coding • Assist in the assignment to decommission HCSIS/M4Q Crystal reporting to SSRS technology, which includes analysis of user needs, possible report retirements and limiting search scopes as well as coding using SSRS framework: • Assist in the possible inheritance of DOH/IM Interface development support providing current issues are resolved and a stable environment ensured. CONTRACTOR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • 4 years experience using Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML), Active Server Pages (ASP and ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>), Extensible Markup Language (XML), VB Script language, Visual Source Safe, Visual Basic 6 and VB.Net, Windows Application Programming, Oracle 10g database and SQL Server expertise. • 3 years professional experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Component Object Model (COM+) and Microsoft .Net architecture. • 4 years professional experience developing and supporting Microsoft Visual Basic Version 6 applications including Active Server Pages (ASP). • 3 years experience with Visual Basic.Net or 3 years of Component Development experience. • 3 years experience with development on Oracle 10g database or higher interfacing with older and newer ASP and VB techniques using Application Programming Interfaces (API). • 2 years experience developing accessible web site applications and web site content following the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and U.S. Section 508 requirements. • 1 year of Department of Public Welfare Subject Matter Expertise (SME) developing and supporting highly complex web applications using web serves and following H-Net standards. • Demonstrated testing with Load Runner along with experience in database modeling and design • 4 years experience in Business-to-Business E-commerce experience. • 1 Year experience in Component Security interfaces. • 1 year Subject Matter Expertise in Web Component Development using Microsoft .Net within the Department of Public Welfare. *Thanks and Regards, * Regards, Agustine Reed Consulting Services technodyne® EMail: [email protected] *LINKEDIN Profile*: * http://in.linkedin.com/pub/agustine-devraj-agustinedevraj-gmail-com/5/188/493 * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "True Value Careers" group.
