Job title: Jwalk consultant
*Job Description*: Individual in this position will work with an innovative
group of developers to roll-out new solutions and enhancements to the new
vehicle maintenance application. This position will offer a unique
opportunity to work on legacy modernization project in a SOA environment.
Develop, update and enhance vehicle maintenance applications
Develop interactive applications using *JWalk,* programming.
Conduct structured design sessions and/or walk-through design
sessions with
customer IT teams. Convert requirements into design
specifications.
Provide production support for Maintenance applications
Develop ad-hoc processes to create data extracts for
customers.
Position
4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing
applications.
(System Development Life Cycle experience and knowledge)
2+ years of experience in maintaining and enhancing existing
software and
developing new software solutions utilizing JWALK is
required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve complex problems
is required
Ability to visualize and design applications across platform
is required
Strong understanding of database structures, theories,
principles, and practices
is required
Good written and oral communication skills is required
Strong technical documentation skills is required
Ability to create and modify programs with or without written
programs pecifications, consistent with department
procedures, philosophies,
and standards isrequired.
Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment is
required.
Applicant must be highly self motivated and directed and must
have proven
analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*.NET Framework experiences a plus *
* SQL Server 2000/2005 experience a plus *
* CL, RPG, COBOL & SQL experience a plus *
Technical project management experience is a plus
Experience in vehicle maintenance applications is a plus
