Must have all Highlighted Skills Role: QA with Mainframe Duration: 12+ Months Location: Sioux Falls, SD Must have banking Experience Following are the details of the opportunity: Job Classification: Systems QA Analyst Position Description: Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years related This position requires a Senior Consultant with more than +7 years of hands on Automation/Manual testing experience. Consultant must be experienced in performing UI/Front End testing with back-end mainframe, SQL Server, DB2 testing as well. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the software development and test life cycle. You will need a strong understanding of both manual and automation testing and experience of reporting on testing progress to other members of the organization. You will be required to produce clear test plans and scripts from technical specifications. An analytical and creative approach to testing is essential and the ability to grasp new things quickly will be critical. The role may evolve into Management and leading of projects. The role will be dealing with several IT and business groups and you will be promoting high quality testing principles and practices. This is both a hands-on and leadership role and therefore you will have variety interactions across the stages of the SDLC. Key skills: - Excellent communication and analytical skills - Full Test Lifecycle experience, including Test Strategy, Plans, Cases and reporting - Execution of manual and automation testing - Develop automated testing, preferably with QTP, TestComplete (AutomatedQA) - Manual Testing - +7 years as a QA Analyst, and least 3 assignments as a Sr. QA Analyst. - Recent hands on experience testing client/server applications with. NET Web interface and Mainframe backend. - COBOL, CICS, DB2 - Excellent data query experience using SQL queries - Data validation for production and pre-production install In person, you must have excellent communication and relationship skills as this is a key role in the team and you will be dealing with multiple teams across both IT and the business. Your manner should be open, flexible and professional and you should be highly adaptable to changing situations whilst keeping your test projects on track.
