Job description:
Writes effective test scripts within the framework of accepted Chase tools (Mercury Interactive – Load Runner, Win Runner) in an open systems (Java) environment using documented requirements and technical specifications provided by client project managers
• Executes test scripts; through automated or manual methods and reports findings according to the defined process
• Participates/Support diagnostics testing of newly defined or modified environments
• Develops data driven test automation scripts and executes performance and load testing of client products
• Alerts client of defects and level of risk associated with each; keeps thorough records of defects; updates defects as status changes and reports to management on an ongoing basis the status of defects
• Keeps project managers and technical staff informed of factors that may effect a timely roll-out of the product or project
• Conducts root cause analysis of all defects reported during project or product testing
- Interpret requirements.
- Create Test Strategy/Test Plan/Estimates.
- Formulate QA Performance Test Strategy.
- Review all QA deliverables.
- Strong understanding of industry standard performance measurement, tools, and techniques (Performance Center, Loadrunner, all HP tools, VuGen Scripting, Sitescope, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and management skills.
