with Capital Market Background.
Location: Jersey City,
Duration: 3 months+
CAPITAL MARKETS BACKGROUND!
Responsibilities:
. .NET Developer will analyze functional business applications and
design specifications.
. Will participate in detailed analysis & design sessions; develop
block diagrams and logic flowcharts; translate detailed design into computer
software.
. Will code, test, debug, maintain and refine the computer software
to produce the required product; prepare required documentation, including
both program-level and user-level documentation; enhance software to reduce
operating time and improve efficiency.
Must Have Skills:
. 6+ years of solid experience in developing n-tier applications
(business objects, console exe for middle-tier processing as well as web
app) with Microsoft .Net technology (C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, XSD,
XSLT, Javascript, VBScript, ActiveX, DHTML, SOAP, SOA architecture,
SourceSafe etc.).
. 2+ years of this experience in the asset management industry is a
STRONG plus
. 3+ years experience developing in Winforms
. Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts
. Practical, hands-on experience with C# implementation of common
design patterns
. Strong experience applying software patterns in a Microsoft
environment
. Experience identifying existing patterns within an application and
designing a common solution
. Fully understand impact as well as implication of Test-Driven
Development with NUnit on the quality of application
. Experience in using Microsoft application blocks / Enterprise
libraries
. Experience in designing and implementing core components and
developing reusable .Net assemblies
. Experience with Visual Studio 2005 and .Net 2.0
. Solid understanding of large-scale database (SQLServer 2000/2005,
Oracle 8i/9i/10G etc) and experience with writing SQL's and stored
procedures
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and
Release Management
. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently with minimum
supervision
. Must be a team player
Nice to have skills:
. Strong experience in developing financial applications for asset
management operations (settlements, reconciliation, pricing, security master
etc.)
. Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services
. Good knowledge and understanding of Internet and Intranet
infrastructure environments
. Experience Smart Client Software Factory and CAB
. Experience in working with Infragistics
Experience in working with Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0
