Also be familiar with MS .Net technology. The following are a list of overall skills desired to work with AA Architecture and Shared Service existing and future Stakeholders: • Experience in BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere Architecture and Design for Enterprise types of deployments. • J2EE container Enterprise Planning, Analysis and Implementation. ENTERPRISE – not just for one project, but MANY that run the spectrum. • Provide guidance to architecture team for development of best practices from an architectural level. • Experience with WebLogic and WebSphere Administration and Monitoring. • Experience configuring and administering unique deployments of custom applications for any J2EE container. • Advanced WebLogic and WebSphere performance and tuning experience including development of custom tools. (Java MBeans Extentions) • Experience implementing tools that are extensions to WebLogic & WebSphere such as monitoring tools, code profiling tools, etc. • Experience designing & implementing WebLogic Clusters, WebSphere Network Deployment and Deployment Manger along with Directory authentication. • Able to demonstrate abilities to create/reengineer integration solutions (architectures) with other enterprise standard technologies • Lead in risk assessment, identifying technology challenges and recommend architectures • Knowledge of MS .Net technology and other emerging MS technologies – i.e. BixTalk • Well versed in SOA and ESB integration layer including WebServices management • Any knowledge of SAP is a big plus • Experience in iPlanet, IIS and IBM HTTP Server (Apache) is required. • Prior knowledge of Proxy Plugin based configuration for both iPlanet and IBM HTTP server is desired. • Knowledge of any Hardware based load balancer is a plus. Other knowledge: • Working knowledge of Solaris and Linux is a must. • Basic knowledge of networking and other network appliances i.e. Load balancer is required • Prior experience of development and n-tier architecture would be very helpful • Provide technical leadership for supporting WebSphere/WebLogic across AA’s distributed environments. Individual should have a very good understanding of distributed J2EE containers, while also possessing the appropriate skills to design Enterprise J2EE infrastructure architecture that can be leveraged across all lines of business within the organization. • Assist in formulating a standard way of gathering detailed information on the application and infrastructure requirements of current and future projects - Establish recommendations and guidelines for the development, test, operations and application support environments. • Provide information needed to assess the risk of production deployment of a business critical application: installation and configuration readiness, performance and scalability evaluation, stability and durability evaluation, and best practices procedures. • Assess the processes that will be used to operate, support and maintain the Enterprise implementation(s). Refine the deployment process and architecture so that it will easily scale to fit into an enterprise scope. • Assist in determining overall hardware and software configuration along with capacity projections and planning for future support of growing operations. • Needs to be extensible to changing platform requirements or other advancements in the distributed computing model. • Assist in determining Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), for immediate needs/deployments, and enterprise SLA’s to support ongoing operations, if any. • Develop performance, scalability, and durability evaluations and monitoring for load testing and real time. * Does Contractor Need Their Own Laptop?
