Title: JAVA/PLSQL Developers Location: Folsom, CA Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension to 2 years Status: No H1-Bs, must be EAD, Green Card Holder, or U.S. Citizen ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develops and maintains application systems to ensure timely access to accurate, real-time data. Maintains enterprise application programs for internal and external ISO workflow and control functions Develops and implements unit test procedures and processes related to all supported applications. Creates and maintains documentation and procedures related to the maintenance and operation of application systems. Develops specifications and procures new applications that support ISO internal and external users. Coordinates with various departments to support changes or additions to applications in accordance with ISO Change Management policies and procedures Interacts with vendor staff in the implementation of new systems and modifications to existing business applications Analyzes, supports, and resolves real-time computer hardware, software and database issues in a time sensitive environment. Attends business meetings, and collaborates with colleagues to develop "best practices" policies and procedures, and to identify and resolve issues to help create a flexible and efficient organization. Adheres to and supports the Behavioral Success Factors of the ISO. Performs related duties and activities as appropriate MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training and experience Thorough knowledge of computing concepts, hardware, software, systems and networking; .Java, GRAILS, Groovy, JQuerry, J2EE, PLSQL, and UNIX experience. Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred Five or more years related experience. IT applications Experience in IT applications development, design, and analysis and data modeling.
