*Network Services Consultant * *Portland**, OR*** *Duration: 6months +* * * 7+ years IT Experience 5+ Years of experience supporting large scale networks of 10,000 or more nodes *Demonstrates the following skills and behaviors:* • Ability to troubleshoot issues with the network and wireless infrastructure. • Advanced knowledge of Cisco network design best practices • Advanced knowledge of Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls • F5 Big IP experience a plus • Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching. • Knowledge of Cisco wireless products. • Ability to communicate with customers. • A high degree of Customer Service skills. • Initiative and motivation. • Willingness to work with others on problems that may not be specifically Network related. • Willing to participate in on-call rotation • A commitment to total quality and the process of continuous improvement. • Ability to work in an office environment and interact with others. • Candidates should possess a valid CCNA or CCNP, or higher, Cisco certification. Very good in communication with trouble shooting experience over phone covering all levels of the organization • The candidates will also be given typical DTNA networking scenarios and asked to describe how they would respond to the issue *Basic Qualifications:* BS/BA technical or business degree or the equivalent of 10 years of Information Technology experience. Must have an ability to provide positive customer service and advance communication, problem solving and technical writing skills.
