Position: .Net Web Developer
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 5 Months
Rate: $45/hr
Please note that this is a 35 hour work week.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. A minimum of 4-6 years experience in .Net/C# development for
large-scale enterprise applications.
2. Experience in writing Microsoft Exchange applications.
3. Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service development
using Microsoft WCF.
4. Strong knowledge of XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD).
5. Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
6. Web service development experience; experience with WS-* second
generation standards
7. Ability to produce technical documentation.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to
clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.
9. Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
Desirable Experience:
1. A Masters degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is desired.
2. Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies;
Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
3. Must be able to be a team player who works well with technical and
non-technical resources.
4. Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and
participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the
project.
5. Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant
guidance.
6. Must be able to provide documentation on their work.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with project management team, technical team and program areas in
the requirements gathering process to determine high level designs
2. Designing and coding software components
3. Using best practices for development
4. Assist in testing efforts, perform unit testing and fixes during
testing process
5. Assist the support team in deployment
6. Document all components
7. Other related development tasks in the SDLC
Deliverables:
1. All documentation regarding system design
2. Requirement document
3. Detailed System Architecture Diagram
4. Data-flow Diagram
5. Class Diagrams
6. Activity and State Diagrams
7. Component Diagrams
8. Modules for the system written in C#
9. Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
